I'm pretty sure I hunted down and bought "Cleopatra" right away after that party. It's probably why that's the only real memory I have of that party in the first place — because I was instantly OB. SESSED. with it.
It's hard to explain — there's a scent that I KNOW.
I Know it like it's part of my Soul.
I remember another scent feeling like this once — I was in warm, tropical Florida with my ex husband one night, and we were just leaving this resort where I found and purchased this perfume I found at their spa.
It was called "Thé Vanille" — they don't make it anymore, or I'd probably bathe in the stuff. It was white tea and the kind of vanilla that's the PERFECT VANILLA... iykyk. Not cloying, not fake-smelling, not too sweet.
Just rich, and deep, and edible. Sultry. Sensual. Smoky almost. And something Ancient in the combination with the white tea. I remember feeling the same thing that night — "THIS IS THE SMELL."

So I bought Cleopatra like a woman afire. And then it became MY fragrance. My signature scent. People would know I walked in the room without looking because they smelled the scent... My friends knew they weren't allowed to wear it. I wore it, and only it, for years. YEARS.
Then one night — about 8 months after I did my coach training in Feminine / Masculine Energetics for relationships.... I had a dream. And, litttteralllyyyyyy, my life hasn't been the same since.
